Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care’s Mumbai and Dharampur centres undertook a variety of initiatives:
In select localities across Mumbai as well as the interiors of Shahapur village, volunteers distributed staple foodgrains to families in need, provided footwear to students who had been walking barefoot, and gifted toys to public schools. Over 300 sarees were distributed to less-privileged women in Shahapur.
At the Children’s Aid Society, a remand home in Chembur, children enjoyed game stalls, team games and creative crafts. At Gurukul Special Children School in Ghatkopar, students participated in a guided painting session followed by an uplifting dance exercise, which was thoroughly enjoyed. A coffee painting workshop was conducted for 35 participants of SPRJ Kanyashala, a school for less-privileged girls.
In Dharampur, over 1,000 lives were touched though a clothes distribution drive undertaken in the villages of Sarvamal and Utka.
