On the occasion of the 150th Birth Anniversary Year of Mahatma Gandhiji, volunteers from Hongkong centre planted 150 saplings at Mui Wo, Lantau Island in partnership with the Consulate General of India in Hong Kong and Chinmaya Mission, Hong Kong.

The vulnerable and disadvantaged in this world need more than pity—they need to see love flow towards them selflessly. Volunteers in the US made this a reality through humanitarian endeavours across multiple locations. Survival kits were provided to SERCH, a shelter for homeless in Houston. More than 200 packets of snacks were prepared and distributed to young children at Illumination Foundation, a provider of emergency and supportive housing services in Los Angeles.

To commemorate the occasion of Friendships’ Day, volunteers of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care’s Nagpur centre extended their hand of friendship towards the community. Volunteers distributed umbrellas to the street hawkers, while chocolates were distributed amongst the less-privileged children in the city.

The festival of lights, Diwali is that time of the year which one wishes to spend with their loved and near ones.

Diwali was an occasion for volunteers to spread cheer in the lives of the less-privileged children and the elderly across cities.

On the occasion of Diwali, over 900 students from various local government schools visited the Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram for a fun-filled event! The students, studying in standards 6-8, had been eagerly looking forward to this evening since weeks.

Diwali is a festival of lights, where everyone exchanges gifts signifying joy and love for each other.

Shrimad Rajchandra Mahila Gruha Udyog joined the season’s festivities at Garodia International School, Mumbai, by setting up a vibrant stall at the school’s annual Diwali Fair.

Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care partnered with ICICI Prudential to organise a blood donation drive at their campuses in BKC and Goregaon, Mumbai. Several enthusiastic staff members came together to donate blood, after which they participated in an informative session about organ donation awareness.

By the grace of Shrimad Rajchandraji and the blessings of Pujya Gurudevshri, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care received the ‘COVID Hero’ Award from the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM), the civic body of Mumbai. The award was received in recognition of the extensive support provided to over 18 hospitals and quarantine centres across Mumbai during the COVID-19 pandemic, in the form of PPE kits, masks, sanitisers and nutritious meals for healthcare staff. The award ceremony was held in Mumbai and was attended by esteemed dignitaries from the MCGM, including Smt. Pravina Morajkar – Chairperson, Public Health Committee; Shri Sanjeev Jaiswal – Additional Municipal Commissioner (City), Shri Suresh Kakani – Additional Municipal Commissioner (Western Suburbs), Shri Anand Wagaralkar – Joint Municipal Commissioner (Special), Shri Devidas Kshirsagar – Deputy Municipal Commissioner (Public Health), and Dr. Ramesh Bharmal – Dean, BYL Nair Hospital. Additionally, the Deans of prominent hospitals such as King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital, and Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital (Sion) were also present.
