Recently, a severely injured parrot was brought to the Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Nursing Home. The parrot displayed clear indications of trauma and was unable to even flap its wings.

Volunteers of the Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care Long Island Centre conducted a hunger relief drive through which over 10,000 pounds of rice was packed and donated to various shelters and outreach centres, benefitting over 33,000 people in need!

In an effort to bring a smile on the faces of those in need, the Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care Muscat centre conducted a food distribution drive in the city of Al Amirat.

Marking World Birth Defect Day, Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital was felicitated with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Valsad District Development Officer – Ms. Arpit Sagar, in recognition of its effort in identifying and treating children with birth defects.

By the grace of Shrimad Rajchandraji and the blessings of Pujya Gurudevshri, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care received the ‘COVID Hero’ Award from the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM), the civic body of Mumbai. The award was received in recognition of the extensive support provided to over 18 hospitals and quarantine centres across Mumbai during the COVID-19 pandemic, in the form of PPE kits, masks, sanitisers and nutritious meals for healthcare staff. The award ceremony was held in Mumbai and was attended by esteemed dignitaries from the MCGM, including Smt. Pravina Morajkar – Chairperson, Public Health Committee; Shri Sanjeev Jaiswal – Additional Municipal Commissioner (City), Shri Suresh Kakani – Additional Municipal Commissioner (Western Suburbs), Shri Anand Wagaralkar – Joint Municipal Commissioner (Special), Shri Devidas Kshirsagar – Deputy Municipal Commissioner (Public Health), and Dr. Ramesh Bharmal – Dean, BYL Nair Hospital. Additionally, the Deans of prominent hospitals such as King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital, and Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital (Sion) were also present.

Hershey India Pvt. Ltd., touched by the work being done at Raj Uphaar towards empowering the tribal women of South Gujarat, gifted the Raj Uphaar team some of its flagship products. The company generously sent hampers for all the 135+ women employed at Raj Uphaar, with each hamper containing products such as Hershey Kisses, Syrup, Cocoa Powder, Cookies and Strawberry Milkshake, truly making them feel special! This feeling was so evident in the curious and surprised smiles across all their faces!
