Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026 – From Bud to Bloom!

Rooted in compassion and collective action, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care returned to the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026 for the 14th consecutive year.

For over two decades, the Tata Mumbai Marathon has stood at the intersection of endurance and empathy, where personal grit meets collective responsibility. What began as a city marathon in 2004, today brings together global participants across age groups and abilities, united by the belief that every step can drive change.

The event has also steadily grown into one of Asia’s most significant platforms for philanthropy and social impact. Over the years, it has enabled the collective efforts of non-profits, corporates, and individual fundraisers – raising over ₹536 crore for social causes nationwide since inception.

It is within this spirit of collective giving that Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care once again returned to the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026, marking its 14 th consecutive year of participation!

Bud to Bloom: The Theme for 2026
This year, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care participated under the theme ‘Bud to Bloom’, a reflection on potential, care, and transformation. Every life begins with promise, yet remains deeply shaped by circumstance. Poverty, illness, lack of access to education, or social marginalisation, often decide whether that promise is nurtured or left unrealised.

Inspired by the teachings of Param Krupalu Dev and guided by the grace of Pujya Gurudevshri, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care exists to be that nurturing force. Just as soil, sunshine and water help a bud to grow, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care’s initiatives create essential support systems that stand alongside individuals and communities as they grow toward dignity and self-reliance.

The theme came alive on race day through thoughtfully designed hand-held props and coordinated supporting costumes, visually reinforcing this uplifting message.

Collective Participation, Shared Commitment
At the 2026 edition, over 2,000 supporters rallied behind Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, including 38 corporates across 44 teams. Participation spanned all race categories, including the Dream Run.

Along the course, the Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care Motivational Zone at Marine Drive once again emerged as a powerful focal point. Live music and dance performances by youth volunteers infused the stretch with energy and encouragement, urging runners to push forward.

A Growing Culture of Giving
Ahead of race day, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care continued to play a defining role within the marathon’s broader philanthropic ecosystem. Invited to the Charity Press Conference in Mumbai, the organisation reaffirmed its position as one of the Tata Mumbai Marathon’s most consistently impactful fundraising partners.

The 2026 campaign brought together 112 individual fundraisers and among them, six ‘Change Legends’ each raised over ₹1 crore. A growing number of young and first-time fundraisers highlighted Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care’s ability to inspire giving across generations.

Funds raised through the marathon were directed towards two key initiatives. The first supported large-scale medical camps which deliver free, multi-speciality healthcare to underserved communities with limited access to treatment. Secondly, funds will help support the newly inaugurated Shrimad Rajchandra Sarvamangal Centre of Excellence for Women in Dharampur, an integrated empowerment hub focused on skill development, livelihood creation, health awareness, and social upliftment for rural women.

At its heart, this journey is one of gratitude! Fourteen years at the Mumbai Marathon have reflected the continuous flow of Pujya Gurudevshri’s grace; year after year inspiring volunteers to serve, to give beyond themselves, and to become instruments to spread His love to those in need. We remain immensely thankful to Gurudev for giving us the priceless gift of seva!
